Dinner among the whole circle
A festive menu from our own Kitchen Area, served at set tables. Made for milestone birthdays and family gatherings that leave room for conversation — with no closing time, for as long as the evening carries.
Party with DJ & dancing
The factory hall becomes the dance floor: an 85-inch screen, JBL sound and two wireless mics are on board; for a real dance floor we can arrange a DJ with their own sound system – or bring your own. One event a day, exclusively yours — and open end.
Dinner + party combined
First together at the table, then on into the night. We shape the shift from menu to celebration as one flow — zones used on their own or combined, entirely to suit your guest count and timeline.

One event per day – your day is yours
On your day, only your celebration takes place here – one event per day, exclusive and undisturbed. Popular Saturdays do tend to be taken earlier, so just let us know your preferred date in good time and we'll hold it for you – Monday to Sunday at the same price, with no weekend surcharge.

How far ahead should I book REST2RENT for a birthday party?
At REST2RENT in Hamburg: For popular Saturdays we recommend enquiring a few months in advance. We will hold preferred dates for you on a non-binding basis by arrangement.
Is there a curfew at REST2RENT in Hamburg?
No, there is no curfew and no noise limit at REST2RENT. You decide when it ends; our staff stays until the finish.
How many guests fit into the REST2RENT event venue in Hamburg?
The REST2RENT event venue holds 20 to 200 guests: up to 200 for a buffet and standing reception, up to about 150 with festive seating. We advise on the right layout.
Does a mix of young and old work?
Yes – with a little planning: a quieter corner for conversation, well-judged volume, seating for everyone and light as well as vegetarian options on the menu.
Can I bring my own decorations to REST2RENT in Hamburg?
Yes, at REST2RENT your own decorations are welcome by arrangement. On request we also handle the complete table decoration to match your occasion.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
From 20 guests we calculate your celebration individually. Fixed packages are available from 30 people; up to 200 guests are possible.
May we bring our own cake and drinks?
Your birthday cake from your preferred bakery is very welcome. Drinks are provided in-house with our packages – via transparent drinks packages; we are happy to agree on any special requests with you individually.
Where can our guests stay overnight?
Within walking distance: a hotel is just around 50 m away. For larger groups we are happy to point you to room allocations.

Whether it is a 30th with friends or an 80th with the whole family: a birthday venue has to suit your guests. At REST2RENT the space scales with you – a loft area for 40 guests at one table or the entire hall for 200. Young and old find their place, with a lounge, buffet and dance floor.
Anniversaries and family celebrations such as a golden wedding also have their own space here. In the evening and at weekends the courtyard can be used as well, for example for a food truck. Music for dancing comes from a DJ with their own sound system; we are happy to recommend one.

If you want to celebrate a birthday in Hamburg and are looking for more than a reserved corner of a restaurant, the former margarine factory in Hamburg-Altona (Bahrenfeld) offers a venue of its own. rest2rent is located at Stresemannstraße 375, Haus 9, and spans around 400 m² of industrial architecture with genuine character. The space is divided into four zones – Kitchen, Loft, Entry and Workshop – which can be used individually or in combination. This lets you tailor the room to your guest count and the mood of the occasion, from an intimate gathering to a larger party of 20 to 200 guests, depending on the seating.
When choosing a venue for a milestone birthday in Hamburg, one thing matters above all: staying undisturbed and among your own guests. At rest2rent, only a single event takes place per day. That means full exclusivity – on your day the entire space belongs to you and your guests alone, with no parallel events and no outside crowd. There is no fixed closing time either: you celebrate open-end, for as long as the evening carries.
Everything culinary comes from the house itself. The open Kitchen Area at the heart of the space makes the cooking part of the evening and delivers the catering directly on site, without an external provider. For music, speeches or a birthday slideshow, the standard technology is already included: an 85-inch screen, a JBL sound system and two wireless microphones are part of the setup. This lets you share memories, hold speeches and shape the evening musically, without having to arrange additional equipment.
