Popular wedding dates go first
Saturdays from May to September are often booked more than a year in advance. Secure your preferred date early – with no weekend surcharge here, the same price Monday to Sunday. Midweek and in the off-season you celebrate just as exclusively and relaxed.

How far ahead should I book REST2RENT for a wedding?
At REST2RENT in Hamburg: For Saturdays between May and September we recommend enquiring as early as possible, ideally more than a year ahead. We will hold preferred dates for you on a non-binding basis by arrangement.
Is an on-site ceremony possible?
Yes. A free ceremony can be held right in the venue; the space is then reset for the reception, dinner and party – all in one place, with no change of location.
Is there a curfew at REST2RENT in Hamburg?
No, there is no curfew and no noise limit at REST2RENT. Your wedding ends when you and your guests want it to; our staff stays until the finish.
How many guests fit into the REST2RENT event venue in Hamburg?
The REST2RENT event venue holds 20 to 200 guests: up to about 150 for a seated festive dinner, up to 200 for a reception. We advise on the right layout.
What does a wedding at REST2RENT cost?
You pay by building block: room hire, drinks package, food and staff – the prices are listed above on this page. We calculate your specific quote based on guest count, menu and duration, transparently and with no hidden costs.
Where can our guests stay overnight?
Within walking distance: a hotel is just around 50 m away. For larger groups we are happy to point you to room allocations.
May we bring our own DJ, our own decorations and an external cake?
Yes. Your own DJ, your own decorations and florals as well as a cake from your preferred bakery are very welcome. On request we are of course happy to arrange the music, decoration and cake for you completely.

Wedding venue in Hamburg-Altona: ceremony, dinner and party in one place
A wedding venue in Hamburg should save you travelling between locations. At REST2RENT the free ceremony, champagne reception, dinner and party all take place in the same space: the industrial loft with columns and plenty of daylight is reset between programme points while your guests raise a glass in the courtyard or lounge.
For up to 200 guests at long or round tables, with dinner from our Kitchen Area or your own caterer. Dance with no curfew – we are happy to recommend a DJ with their own sound system.
The courtyard: food trucks, stalls and lounge
The venue sits in a courtyard with industrial charm. In the evening and at weekends there is room for food trucks, stalls or an open-air lounge – ideal for summer parties, receptions or the hour after dinner. On weekdays until 5 pm the courtyard can only be used to a limited extent, as the neighbouring businesses are at work. A covered smoking area is right by the entrance, and there is an outdoor high-voltage connection for food trucks.

Wedding venue in Hamburg: marry in a former margarine factory
If you are looking for a wedding venue in Hamburg that does not feel like a conventional banquet hall, rest2rent in Hamburg-Altona (Bahrenfeld) offers an alternative with history. The venue occupies a former margarine factory at Stresemannstraße 375 (Haus 9) and provides around 400 square metres for 20 to 200 guests, depending on the seating. The space is divided into four zones that can be used individually or in combination: Kitchen, Loft, Entry and Workshop. A single location thus carries an entire celebration, from an intimate reception to a large wedding party, without losing the industrial character of the building.
Getting married in Hamburg at rest2rent means one thing above all: full exclusivity. Only a single event takes place on any given day. Your wedding shares the house with no one, and there is no change of location between ceremony, reception, banquet and party. Everything stays in one place, everything stays at your pace. By combining the zones, you can hold the free ceremony in the Loft, host the sparkling-wine reception in the Entry and let the evening move seamlessly into the banquet and party, without moving your guests across the city in between. This exclusivity takes pressure out of the planning and gives the day a sense of calm.
As a venue for a free ceremony, the house also stands out for its facilities. Catering comes from in-house, prepared in the Kitchen Area, which can become part of the experience itself if you wish. There is no curfew: your celebration ends when you want it to, open end. Standard technology is already included, among it an 85-inch screen, a JBL sound system and two wireless microphones for speeches and the ceremony, along with WLAN at 200 Mbit per second. Ceremony, music and speeches are thus technically covered, without the need to organise additional service providers.
Every wedding is calculated individually, because no celebration is like another. You put together your enquiry and an initial quote through the enquiry form, where you select zones, guest numbers and facilities according to your ideas. From the very beginning you see transparently how your day in the former margarine factory can take shape, and you keep the planning in hand from the first idea to the open end.
