Frequently asked questions from corporate clients
What happens if fewer guests attend than booked?
Minimum numbers are binding – if attendance falls short, we charge the minimum headcount. Upwards, you remain flexible up to 200 guests.
Can a conference and an evening event be combined?
Yes, without changing venue: day rate plus evening package, and the space remains yours throughout. No curfew, no changeover stress.
How does payment work?
30% deposit on booking, the balance as agreed – by invoice, standard B2B practice. All items are shown transparently with the applicable VAT rate.
What is included in the full-service package?
Setup, teardown, cleaning, technology, power and on-site support are all included – with no hidden costs. Venue, catering and technology run through a single contact.
Do we share the venue with other events?
No. You rent the entire floor exclusively – only your event takes place on your date, from 20 to 200 guests.
Are we tied to your catering?
With our event packages, catering comes from our own Kitchen Area – buffets in-house, live cooking bookable on request. If you book the space only (venue-only), you are free to choose your caterer.
What technology is on site?
Two 85-inch screens and a digital Samsung Flip are ready for presentations, plus JBL sound with two wireless microphones and Sonos for background music. For conferences and workshops, full facilitation equipment is available too.

REST2RENT is a corporate event venue in Hamburg-Altona (Bahrenfeld): a 400 m² loft in a former margarine factory, exclusively yours for one event per day, for 20 to 200 guests. Conferences, company parties, Christmas parties and anniversaries happen in one place, with no curfew. Catering comes from our own Kitchen Area or from your caterer. Venue hire from €990 net.
Company anniversaries and staff parties in Hamburg
A company anniversary often combines two things: an official part with speeches and an evening of celebration. At REST2RENT both take place in the same venue – reception and speeches on a stage of 6 modular elements, followed by dinner or buffet and a party with no curfew.
For a staff party with 50 or 200 guests we plan space, food, drinks and staff from a single source. You receive an itemised quote with net prices; payment is 30 % in advance and 70 % after the event.

Anyone looking for a corporate event location in Hamburg will find in rest2rent an event venue for companies set in a former margarine factory in Hamburg-Altona (Bahrenfeld). Across roughly 400 m², the space is divided into four zones – Kitchen, Loft, Entry and Workshop – used individually or in combination. Depending on the seating, 20 to 200 guests fit in, from a focused workshop to a large company party. A plenary session and break-outs can run in parallel, so conference, presentation and group work all take place in the same building. The space is reached via a few steps or by lift, and the address at Stresemannstraße 375, Haus 9, sits centrally in the west of Hamburg.
For a company party in Hamburg, the location can be rented flexibly – from the Christmas party and summer festival to a team event. One distinguishing feature is exclusivity: we host only one event per day. The entire building therefore belongs to a single group, with no parallel events and no closing hour. For conferences and workshops, the standard technology is included: an 85-inch screen, JBL sound and two wireless microphones are ready to use, along with 200 Mbit/s Wi-Fi for presentations and live access. Hybrid formats and streaming can be added on request when participants join remotely.
