Frequently asked questions
Is there a curfew at REST2RENT in Hamburg?
No, there is no curfew and no noise restriction at REST2RENT. In the Premium package, our team stays until the very end.
Is there a weekend surcharge?
No. The same prices apply Monday to Sunday – a real difference, especially for weddings.
How does payment work?
30% deposit on booking, the balance after the celebration. All prices for private clients include VAT.
Can we view the venue beforehand?
Any time – arrange a viewing or start the 360° tour right away.
Do we have to clean up afterwards?
No. Setup, teardown and final cleaning are included – you celebrate, we take care of the rest.
Can we bring our own decoration, music and cake?
Yes, gladly – your own decoration, your own DJ and a cake from your favourite patisserie are welcome. On request, we also handle decoration, music and cake entirely for you.
Are older or less mobile guests well catered for?
The event space is on the ground floor. On foot it is reached via a few steps; a lift is available for wheelchairs and walkers, and there is an accessible WC. Over 100 parking spaces are right by the building, and a hotel is just about 50 metres away.

Across roughly 400 m² you can celebrate a wedding, milestone birthday, anniversary or family gathering in a place that is neither a restaurant hall nor a bare rental room – but a stage that adapts to your evening.
If you want to rent a space to celebrate in Hamburg, rest2rent offers four zones: Kitchen, Loft, Entry and Workshop. Each can be booked on its own or combined freely – from an intimate dinner for 20 guests to a large celebration of up to 200 people, depending on the seating. Because only a single event takes place per day, the space belongs entirely to you on your date. Full exclusivity means no parallel event next door, no shared entrance, and the freedom to celebrate undisturbed from the first welcome to the late evening.
As a private event location in Hamburg, rest2rent puts the culinary side centre stage: in the open Kitchen Area, the in-house catering is prepared visibly and in the middle of things rather than behind closed doors. There is no closing time – your evening ends when you decide (open end). Standard technology is included: an 85-inch screen for photos and speeches, JBL sound and two wireless microphones. Whether it's a wedding with ceremony and party, a milestone birthday among a wide circle, a company or family anniversary, or a bachelor/bachelorette gathering – the room carries the occasion without overshadowing it.
