Popular Fridays in November and December are often booked out by late summer. Secure your preferred date early – with no weekend surcharge here. No date left? January and February are our peak season for postponed Christmas parties and new-year kick-offs.

How far ahead should I book REST2RENT for a Christmas party?
At REST2RENT in Hamburg: For dates in November and December we recommend enquiring by late summer. We will hold preferred dates for you on a non-binding basis by arrangement.
Does our party stay tax-free?
Up to €110 gross per person and event, a company party remains free of wage tax (two events per year). On request we calculate your package precisely to this tax-free allowance. Note: not tax advice.
Is there a curfew at REST2RENT in Hamburg?
No, there is no curfew and no noise limit at REST2RENT. You decide when it ends; our staff stays until the finish.
How many guests fit into the REST2RENT event venue in Hamburg?
The REST2RENT event venue holds 20 to 200 guests: up to 200 for a buffet and standing reception, up to about 150 with festive seating. We advise on the right layout.

At REST2RENT the entire space belongs to your team for the evening – for 20 to 200 guests, as a seated dinner, a buffet with standing tables or a mix of both.
For your company Christmas party, choose a buffet from our Christmas brochure, add a drinks package and, if you like, a DJ with their own sound system. Our installed system is designed for background music; for a dance floor the DJ brings their own equipment. Thursdays and Fridays in November and December are the most requested dates – enquire early.

If you are planning a Christmas party in Hamburg, you are looking for a venue with character rather than a standard function room. rest2rent is located in the former margarine factory in Hamburg-Altona (Bahrenfeld) (Stresemannstraße 375, Haus 9) and offers around 400 m² of industrial yet high-end space for your company Christmas party. Four zones – Kitchen, Loft, Entry and Workshop – can be used individually or combined, depending on group size from 20 to 200 guests and your preferred seating. The space scales from an intimate team dinner to a large departmental celebration.
The decisive difference for corporate clients: we host only one event per day. Your Christmas party therefore enjoys the full exclusivity of the venue – no parallel group, no shared entrance, no closing time. You celebrate open end. From our own Kitchen Area comes a Christmas buffet made in-house, visibly freshly prepared rather than anonymously delivered. Standard technology is included: an 85-inch screen for a year in review or a speech, JBL sound and two wireless microphones – ready for the address, the playlist and any awards.
One honest planning note: November and December are in high demand, and good dates in the year-end season are booked early. If you are flexible, consider January and February – the celebration stays just as festive, availability is calmer and easier to plan, and February in particular is a core month for us for Christmas and new-year kick-off parties. Relevant for your budgeting: company events carry a wage-tax allowance of €110 gross per person. This is a note, not tax advice – please confirm it with your accounting team.
